Major Responsibilities:
- Promote and embody the Vision and values of the Company
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategic sales and branch budget plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Translate strategic direction into specific objectives for sales channels and alliances.
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Advise reps concerning sales techniques.
- Review and oversee assigned sales territories Outside Sales Representatives
- Assist with the product simplification and standardization process in order to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
- Represent the Company at trade association meetings to promote the Company.
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meet with key clients, assist sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Aid President with revenue projections, reporting, budgeting and forecasting for assigned region
- Review the daily activities and financial statements vs. objectives and take steps to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results
- Manage branch resources within target productivity and efficiency benchmarks
- Resolve day to day personnel issues where management decisions are required
Qualifications required:
- High School Diploma required.
- College/University Diploma required (Business related, preferred).
- Courses in Sales/Marketing an asset.
- Industry knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Experience required:
- Minimum 7-10 years of related experience within distribution
- Minimum 3-5 years previous management experience
