Position Summary
Mobile Transport Refrigeration Technician – Ontario, Canada
$38.00 - $42.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits
Pay & SchedulePay: $38.00 – $42.00/hour (based on experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Thursday
Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm
On-call rotation covering 1 weekend every 5 weeks | $100 premium for on-call coverage

- Mobile yard and service call work
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of electrical systems
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing and repair of components on transport refrigeration equipment, heaters
- Preventative maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- Testing systems for freon leaks, repairing and replacing components as necessary
- General maintenance and PM services
- Utilization of refrigeration equipment to test and charge freon systems
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
- Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through the use of state-of-the-art web-based tablet system
- Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers
- Other duties as required
- 5 plus years experience in transport refrigeration repairs
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Ozone Depletion Certificate preferred
- Own tools and storage device
- Good written and communication skills
