Chiller Technician

Agilus is recruiting for a Chiller Technician in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) industry in Concord, Ontario. The Chiller Technician will join the client’s service team, responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC systems, with a primary focus on chillers and associated mechanical equipment.

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial chillers.
• Work on centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating chiller systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, control, and refrigerant‑related issues.
• Perform seasonal start‑ups, shutdowns, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct compressor inspections, oil analysis, refrigerant leak checks, pressure testing, and operational reports.
• Service related HVAC equipment including pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, air handling units, and controls.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, deficiency reports, and customer documentation.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, overtime, and emergency service as required.

• Certified gas technician licenses (G1 / G2).
• 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic License preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment; chiller experience preferred.
• Valid ODP certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, controls, and refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Hourly rate: $47.00 - $57.00 based on experience. Union rates available. Pension or retirement plan.
