Westlake is hiring an Electrician to oversee the maintenance and technical troubleshooting of our plant utilities. This role will require you to program machines, wire electrical panels, and maintain compliance with safety standards. Your expertise will be crucial to our operational success and community contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems
• Troubleshoot machinery and resolve issues
• Program and revise PLCs for efficient operation
• Wire new panels and maintain existing setups
• Document all work within the maintenance management system
Requirements:
• 442A Electrician certification is essential
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience is beneficial
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude preferred
• Must lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
• Availability for various shifts and overtime hours
