This role supports Level 2 or Level 3 apprentices in routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs while supervised by licensed technicians. You will use various tools, manage repair orders, and maintain shop cleanliness. It’s crucial to stay informed about regulations and assist with general shop tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general maintenance tasks on vehicles
• Accurately complete assigned repair orders
• Collaborate with the Shop Foreman for additional needs
• Report defective tools or equipment for management
• Ensure the shop is kept clean and organized
Requirements:
• Registration with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
• Valid Ontario G driver’s license and clear abstract
• Knowledge of power and hand tools
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
