Northern Transformer Corporation is seeking a skilled Welder to join its growing team. In this full-time role, you will work with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) to fabricate tanks and boxes for transformers, ensuring compliance with CSA standards. You will interact closely with colleagues and the Supervisor to complete various projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications

• Fabricate tanks and boxes using GMAW techniques

• Plan solutions for mechanical problems with guidance

• Examine welds to meet specifications and standards

• Maintain accurate shop records in line with policies

Requirements:

• Knowledge of metal work fundamentals and CWB Certification

• Minimum one year experience in metal fabrication

• Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for long periods

• Proficient with welding and cutting equipment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
