Hands-On Electrician Apprenticeship

As an Electrician Apprentice, you will report to a Journeyperson Electrician, focusing on the installation of high voltage transformers and power system assembly. Responsibilities include day-to-day activities in substation construction, preventive equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety protocols. This role requires successful completion of drug and background checks due to its safety-sensitive nature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in substation construction activities

• Work with various high voltage components

• Install and document power cabling

• Conduct preventive maintenance and testing

• Maintain safety and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Indentured into Electrical or PSE trade

• Familiarity with Electrical Utility Code

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Ability to work at heights

• Experience with testing equipment is a plus
