Role Description

Miele Professional combines premium engineering with intelligent, forward-thinking technology to support customers who depend on precision, reliability, and performance every day. As a Field Service Technician, you will be a key ambassador of the brand, helping deliver the elevated service experience that defines Miele Professional.

In this role, you will work with advanced tools, diagnostics, and measurement technology while being supported by experienced colleagues, your manager, and specialists at our headquarters. You will join a collaborative team that values expertise, ownership, and continuous learning, and you will help ensure Miele Professional equipment performs at the highest standard in demanding commercial, laboratory, medical, and institutional environments.

Qualifications
  • Technical diploma, trade certification, or completed apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, HVAC, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of field service experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial, laboratory, medical, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs independently.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, electrical test instruments, and computer-based service software.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple service calls and maintain accurate service records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous professional development.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to customer sites.
Preferred
  • Experience servicing commercial appliances, laboratory equipment, medical devices, or other complex electromechanical equipment.
  • Experience working with premium brands or manufacturer-certified equipment is an asset.
