Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician

We are currently seeking several Journeymen Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Registered 4th year Apprentices to join our team in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a wide range of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and objectives
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements

Requirements:

• 421A certified or equivalent Red Seal Journeymen Heavy Equipment Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance and repair of Construction or Mining equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, and hydraulic systems, undercarriage repairs and engine diagnosis and repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Valid driver's license

Wage Rage $40 - $44 an hour including a comprehensive Benefit package.

Days, 5x8 Monday
- Friday or 4x10 Monday
- Thursday.
