Job Title:Construction Carpenter - full-time, permanent

We’re a small, highly skilled team specialising in the design and build of bespoke saunas. We’re looking for an experienced Construction Carpenter to join us as a permanent, full-time member of our workshop and installation team.
This is a hands-on role for someone with proven experience in construction and carpentry, and a commitment to precision, craft and high-quality finishes. You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team dedicated to refining and delivering some of the UK’s most celebrated saunas.
The role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional site installations across the UK and Europe - some requiring overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:- Constructing high-end, custom-built saunas to precise specifications.
- Meeting manufacturing targets and timelines without compromising on quality.
- Working with a range of building materials (including wood, metal, tiles), ensuring a commitment to high-quality workmanship with all.
- Operating site and handheld machinery safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating closely with a small team on projects from workshop preparation through to on-site installation
- Applying a comprehensive understanding of construction and carpentry techniques to pre-empt and resolve construction issues.
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and organised workspace.
- Inducting and supervising junior team members on machinery and building techniques.
- Using initiative to streamline processes to improve efficiency.
- Minimising errors by ensuring proper planning and attention to detail in every job.
Skills & Experience:
- 3-4 years at least professional experience as a construction carpenter.
- Building and raising stud frames.
- Confident and safe use of site and hand-held machinery (chop saw, table saw, jigsaw, track saw, laser levels, drill drivers, nail/pin guns, etc.)
- Understanding of workshop protocol, including consideration of others and safe use of shared spaces and machinery.
- Reading construction drawings.
- Quick, accurate and efficient work ethic.
- Clear communication and a commitment to maintaining team morale.

- Ability to drive a trailer
