As an experienced technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostic work, and repairs on Hydrovac trucks, water trucks, and more. Your mechanical expertise will be crucial in adhering to safety standards and completing intricate repairs on systems like engines, transmissions, and hydraulics. You must possess your own hand tools and storage toolbox, with a generous tool allowance program available after three months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems thoroughly
• Ensure compliance with GFL safety standards
• Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed
• Communicate effectively with team members
Requirements:
• Experience with CVIP Motor Vehicle Inspection Program
• Strong mechanical abilities with various machinery
• Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
• Able to work overtime when needed
• Preferred experience with Cummins, Detroit, Caterpillar
