Magna Powertrain is seeking a dedicated Licensed Electrician with at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. You will apply your skills to install, test, and repair critical electrical systems, maintaining compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code. In this role, you will work autonomously to perform preventative maintenance and enhance operational efficiency, all while passing knowledge onto fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely install and repair electrical components and systems
• Test electrical equipment for compliance with standards
• Wire new control panels based on detailed drawings
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and implement improvements
• Relay essential information to Maintenance Managers
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Proficient knowledge in PLC logic and electrical systems
• Familiarity with current safety legislation
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
