Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Gas Fitter 1 with a Refrigeration license to join our growing GTA team.

NOTE:
Only applicants with both 313A and G1 licenses will be considered for an interview.

The primary responsibilities include assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, primarily in the commercial market. We specialize in rooftop units and other HVAC areas. You will service clients across the GTA, coming into the office/shop as needed for supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company professionally and courteously on every call
• Read, interpret, create, and maintain drawings and specifications
• Install, overhaul, and service HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Repair and replace parts on units and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
• Install motors, thermostats, and humidistats
• Instruct customers on maintenance
• Supervise and coordinate apprentices
• Maintain knowledge of modern equipment and regulations
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with legislation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current Gas Fitter 1 with Refrigeration Certificate of Qualification (313A)
• Minimum 5 years HVAC/R service and sales experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of rooftop units and trade tools
• Knowledge of HVAC/R codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Preferred: HRAI Certification
• Valid, clean provincial Driver’s License
