Take on the role of a Millwright at Combined Metal Industries in North York, focusing on mechanical repair and maintenance. This position offers hands-on experience in a unique recycling environment.
CMI is looking for an experienced Millwright to perform vital maintenance on machinery and equipment. Your expertise will assist in maintaining a safe working environment while troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems. This role combines outdoor work in recycling yards with duties inside the maintenance shop.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventive maintenance across all equipment
• Repair machinery breakdowns promptly
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fabricate components per engineering drawings
• Install and commission new machinery effectively
Requirements:
• Holder of a 443A Millwright Licence
• Welding certifications are mandatory
• Minimum four years of Millwright experience
• Experienced in diagnosing mechanical failures
• G license and own tools needed
Your knowledge in welding and maintenance will be essential to CMI's operations.
