About the Role
Woodbridge Pallet is looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to support our day-to-day maintenance and repair operations on our afternoon shift. This role is a great entry point for someone looking to build a career as a Maintenance Mechanic or working toward a skilled trade in maintenance.
This role is for a current vacancy.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with general maintenance and repairs of equipment, tools, and machinery
Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Perform basic repairs (carpentry, minor mechanical work, general upkeep)
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
Assist with equipment inspections and report issues to the Maintenance Team Lead
Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Previous maintenance, labour, or warehouse experience preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality and willingness to learn and take direction are essential
Forklift license an asset
