Join BGIS as a Fire Alarm Technician specialized in inspections and fire prevention solutions. This full-time position is vital for ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations through thorough assessments and effective communication.
In this role, you will work under the Regional Operations Manager and conduct inspections essential for regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities include analyzing alarm systems, resolving issues, and supporting safety training initiatives. Engage with building occupants and stakeholders to enhance fire safety practices within facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections for regulatory compliance and safety
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and occupants
• Support management in fire safety evacuation and training
• Participate in fire safety project meetings
Requirements:
• Valid CFAA certification
• College diploma in Fire Protection or equivalent
• Proficient in fire safety laws and practices
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Holder of a valid driver’s license
