Embark on your mechanical career with Penske as a Diesel Mechanic III in Concord, ON. This apprenticeship role allows you to learn and apply skills in truck maintenance.
Penske Truck Leasing offers a great entry-level position for aspiring diesel mechanics. In this role, you will assist experienced technicians with actual repairs and maintenance on a fleet of modern trucks. Ideal candidates are energetic, driven, and eager to expand their technical skills in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with minor component repairs under supervision
• Conduct preventive maintenance on trucks
• Learn and perform mechanical repairs as directed
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the workspace
• Handle vehicle pickups and deliveries as required
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in vehicle repair desired
• High school diploma or equivalent a must
• Enrollment in an apprentice program needed
• Familiarity with hand tools required
• Ability to work in variable conditions
