Wirecomm Systems is seeking an experienced Construction Technician for full-time opportunities in and around the GTA. This position requires a valid Class G license and expertise in cabling and excavation.
In this field role, you will operate machinery and tools essential for completing individual projects. Your responsibilities include pulling cables, installing underground infrastructure, and accurately reading locate packages. We prioritize safety and expect a positive attitude and teamwork in varying outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mini excavators for digging holes and trenches
• Pull cables and install underground vaults/GLBs
• Read locate packages with precision
• Use RF meters and digital multimeters effectively
• Assist with tracking noise and outages
Requirements:
• Valid Class G license with up-to-date Driver's Abstract
• AR-Z/AZ license is mandatory
• Extensive experience with line extendors and cable locators
• Proven leadership skills in field settings
• Ability to work in all outdoor conditions
