Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Maintain manufacturing machinery, electrical systems, and production lines as a Maintenance Electrician with Multimatic. This position works the night shift in an industrial environment.
As an Industrial Electrician, you will perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled preventive maintenance. The position calls for a 442A certificate and at least five years’ manufacturing or industrial experience. Responsibilities include documentation, parts tracking, die wiring, line program changes, and support for continuous improvement. Pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, PLC, and robotics knowledge are relevant to the work.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting on plant machinery
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance according to established schedules
- Support production through die wiring and program modifications
- Record work orders, logbooks, and parts usage accurately
- Follow procedures, regulations, and safe work practices
- 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate is required
- Minimum five years’ Maintenance Electrician experience required
- Hands-on pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems experience
- Basic PLC programming knowledge is a strong asset
- Ability to interact across a multicultural workforce
