Role Overview

The Corporate controller covers the scope for the corporate manufacturing plant Veghel, oversee the Global Spare Parts Activities, Reverse Logistics and Real-Estate management. In this role you are a key management member in the MT’s for the different capabilities.

This role has a wide scope overseeing multiple activities in respect of manufacturing, service, sustainability and cost control.

The Corporate controller reports into the Supply Controller.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management and Analysis

All capabilities

  • Support monthly IC revenue, contribution margin, efficiency results, EBIT forecasting, annual budget development, (non)-financial KPI and risk & opportunity management.
  • Established a mid-term and long-term financial plan in line with the corporate strategy.
  • Build business cases and track performance for capital and operational expenditures.
  • Oversee SOX compliance in respect of inventory management.
  • Key management member of the relevant (extended)-MT.
Manufacturing
  • Execute core factory controlling responsibilities to ensure robust financial oversight.
  • Monitoring and analyzing workload allocation according to the financial strategy and impact on total cost price, quality and lead times.
  • Accountable for cross-charging towards the users of the domains.
  • Collect, analyze, and report financial data related to factory operations.
  • Collaborate with the domain factory controlling capability owner to assure execution according the set way of working.
Global Spare Parts
  • Execute global spare parts controlling activities in respect of revenue and margin development in comparison to contracts, historical trends and market-share.
  • Supports the domain controllers for steering information in market share, revenue and margin development in the spare parts portfolio.
Reverse logistics
  • Track business case in respect of reserve flows from our projects and enables decision making for re-use and reduce the reduction flows.
Facilities
  • Facilitate decision making in respect of campus developments.
  • Analyse, advise and enable decision making towards the sustainability ambitions.
2. Analytical Thinking and Insight Generation
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively for both the manufacturing and spare parts activities.
  • Develop and apply analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Align financial efforts with strategic objectives across functions.
3. Communication and Collaboration
  • Partner with leadership(s) and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead monthly financial review meetings to support accurate forecasting.
4. Reporting and Compliance
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with Vanderlande’s financial policies and J-SOX standards.
  • Document and enforce finance processes aligned with global practices.
5. Continuous Improvement and Project Involvement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and change management projects.
  • Support process automation and transformation efforts in collaboration with the D&A and Transformation Office.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial business partnering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask and plan efficiently.
  • Self-starter focused on outcomes and professional growth in an international and ambitious environment.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and high standards of integrity in financial matters.
