Introduction The Financial Services department of ASML (Sales, Customer Service, Inventory & Manufacturing, General, Consolidation & Statutory accounting and Tax/Treasury) ensures effective finance process execution and delivers the right financial data to support decision making. The Financial Service department is part of the CFO organization of ASML. In the fast-growing working environment at ASML, it is key to align with a lot of stakeholders to ensure proper external and managerial reporting.
You will work in a dynamic and international oriented environment with tight deadlines and direct impact on ASML’s financial results.
Your assignment The ASML Finance Organization in the Netherlands has recurring openings for interns who want to be part of a dynamic and fast developing finance function. Based on your profile and interest we will connect you with the managers within the Finance Services organization who will discuss in detail the available assignments at hand.
Your key responsibilities- Ensure proper and timely execution of related accounting and maintain and analyze related balance sheets;
- Execution and improvement of our internal control framework and SOX controls for the applicable processes;
- Identify and support (in) improvement initiatives in the respective area of accounting and processes. For instance by driving elimination, standardization, simplification and automation;
- Collaborate with other colleagues for the worldwide consolidated and local statutory audits.
This is a bachelor or master internship and/or thesis internship for a duration of minimum 6 months. Minumum of 32 hours a week (Hybrid). Availability during the week is negotiable. The start date of an internship as soon as possible.
Your profile- Are a bachelor or master student in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Economics;
- Have an affinity with internal controls, data analytics and continuous monitoring;
- Have experience with reporting tools;
- Are eager to learn, detail-oriented, ambitious and willing to go the extra mile;
- Are fluent in English (written and verbal).
- You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship;
- If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement);
- You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
- You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your application shows the willingness to relocate.
