Auto Detailer Duties Your specific duties as an automotive detailer will include:
Thoroughly cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles for resale, for delivery, or for customers in accordance with dealership standards
Using power tools, waxes, cleaning solvents, protective coatings, etc. to restore vehicles to like-new condition
Performing advanced detailing duties as requested: wet sand to remove scratches, buff dull areas, removing water spots, etc.
Some window tinting/applications possible
Auto Detailer Requirements As an Automotive Detailer, you must be dependable and ethical with a high degree of attention to detail. It is also important that you have a firm commitment to customer satisfaction.
Specific qualifications for the Automotive Detailer position include:
Intermediate to advanced automotive detailing experience
Flexibility for all types of detailing work Valid driver's license and good driving ability
Verifiable work history
Ability to engage in physical work for extended periods
