The Heart Institute of Venice is a patient-centered, growing cardiovascular and primary care practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care to our community. We are currently seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with cardiology experience and a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our collaborative clinical team.

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and examinations
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (EKG, labs, imaging, stress tests, etc.)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide patient education on heart health, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary team members
• Document accurately in EMR and maintain compliance with clinical guidelines
• Participate in care coordination and follow-ups
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
• Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and screenings
• Develop long-term care plans and coordinate specialty referrals
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Collaborate with cardiology and specialty teams for integrated care
• Educate patients on preventative health and disease management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Active Florida APRN license
• Board Certification (ANCC/AANP)
• Minimum 2 years cardiology or internal medicine experience preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Experience in outpatient cardiology setting
• Familiarity with cardiac diagnostic testing and procedures
• MD or DO degree from accredited institution
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Florida medical license
