A well-established leader in advanced separation technologies is seeking a Project Engineer to support membrane treatment system projects. This position plays a key role in the design, development, and execution of high-quality engineered solutions for water treatment and related applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering projects that meet rigorous technical and client-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analytical design and specify system components for reverse osmosis and low-pressure membrane systems, with a strong focus on engineering problem-solving.
  • Develop project proposals and cost estimates for bids and client presentations.
  • Assist in the development of project schedules and coordinate with client engineers and contractors.
  • Prepare and manage all technical project documentation, including P&IDs, equipment layouts, and equipment submittals.
  • Track project progress and costs to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Interface with vendors to request quotes, evaluate proposals, and select cost-effective system components.
  • Write and edit operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to compile documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal CAD and fabrication teams to create detailed fabrication designs and support the build process.
  • Support equipment installation, start-up, performance testing, and operator training in collaboration with contractors and internal field personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • A collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable taking on varied responsibilities in a dynamic team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
