A well-established leader in advanced separation technologies is seeking a Project Engineer to support membrane treatment system projects. This position plays a key role in the design, development, and execution of high-quality engineered solutions for water treatment and related applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering projects that meet rigorous technical and client-specific standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical design and specify system components for reverse osmosis and low-pressure membrane systems, with a strong focus on engineering problem-solving.
- Develop project proposals and cost estimates for bids and client presentations.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and coordinate with client engineers and contractors.
- Prepare and manage all technical project documentation, including P&IDs, equipment layouts, and equipment submittals.
- Track project progress and costs to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Interface with vendors to request quotes, evaluate proposals, and select cost-effective system components.
- Write and edit operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to compile documentation.
- Collaborate with internal CAD and fabrication teams to create detailed fabrication designs and support the build process.
- Support equipment installation, start-up, performance testing, and operator training in collaboration with contractors and internal field personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- A collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable taking on varied responsibilities in a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
