Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinical team. The Medical Assistant will support physicians and clinical staff by assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during visits
  • Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
  • Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures as assigned
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
  • Assist with diagnostic testing and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
  • Coordinate patient care with front desk and clinical staff
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Certification (CMA/RMA) preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical office or specialty practice preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor and compassionate patient care approach
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cardiology or specialty practices
  • Familiarity with EKGs, stress tests, and cardiac procedures
  • Experience working with Medicare patients
