Job Summary
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for all business locations. This role will be responsible for assisting employees and other personnel, assisting the HR Generalists with recruiting candidates, new hire practices, benefit enrollments, maintaining employee records/files in UKG, and providing support for employee requests for information.
Duties/Responsibilities- Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
- Assist with the orientation process while ensuring documents and presentations are up to date
- Supports the administrative part of the new hire process when needed
- Process onboarding and offboarding tasks in the appropriate/required programs
- Track status of candidates and respond with appropriate follow-up information
- Assist with navigation of website, online applications, employee portal, benefits portal, etc
- Support the HR team in various projects
- Ensures consistency and compliance through data reconciliation
- Be a representative of Ajax at community functions when assigned
- Performs other related administrative duties as assigned
- Proficient with HRIS software, Microsoft Office products, computer skills, and/or related software
- Adept technology skill to include navigation of current websites/cell phone applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and strict confidentiality
- Ability to display professional and courteous attitude to all team members
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Valid drivers license with the ability to travel to other locations when required
- Bilingual in Spanish is desired
- High school diploma and two years of related experience in blue collar environment required
- Associates degree in human resources or related field a plus
- Prolonged periods of working in an office setting on a computer and/or phone as needed.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
