Delivery Driver
Domino's Pizza® seeks motivated, reliable Delivery Drivers to provide excellent service to our customers while supporting in‑store operations. The role requires safe driving, customer interaction, and basic food preparation skills.
Qualifications- Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer‑service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
- Clean driving record meeting company standards
- Good navigational skills, able to find addresses within the delivery area, including multi‑story buildings
- Operate delivery equipment efficiently and safely
- Stock ingredients and prepare products as needed
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Complete inventory and associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility daily
- Deliver pizzas within the designated area, often making several deliveries per shift
- Assist with in‑store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and handling supplies
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Clear verbal communication with customers and coworkers, both on the phone and in person
- Accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a calculator if needed
- Ability to give correct monetary change
- Hand‑mouse coordination for rapid, accurate computer or touchscreen input
- Variable weather conditions while performing outdoor tasks
- Temperature range from 36°F in the cooler to over 90°F in some work areas
- Exposure to food fumes, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F or higher
- Cramped spaces, such as walk‑in coolers, and sharp edges with moving mechanical parts
Physical Requirements
- Clear hearing (telephone use) and near/mid‑range vision for most tasks
- Depth perception and ability to differentiate hot from cold surfaces
- Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand‑eye coordination as required by deliveries and in‑store duties
- Examples of lifting: bulk deliveries up to 50 pounds, stacking shelves up to 72 inches high, and handling cases of ingredients and supplies
- Examples of carrying: 3‑pound cans, 30‑pound pizza sauce, and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each
- Examples of pushing and pulling: trays on dollies weighing 24–30 pounds, requiring force up to 7.5 pounds
- Climbing: occasional stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks
- Stooping/Bending: brief forward bends at the assembly station, repeated throughout the day
- Crouching/Squatting: occasional use while stocking or cleaning low areas
- Continuous reaching up, down, and forward throughout the shift
- Continuous hand use, with frequent forearm and wrist force during pizza dough shaping
- Ability to direct activities, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality control standards, and make judgments and decisions
