Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Job Description

Public Storage, the self‑storage industry leader, is hiring a Property Manager. The position offers a base pay of $15.00 per hour and a comprehensive total rewards package.

• Work independently across multiple locations, performing duties inside and outside the facilities.
• Assess customer storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies.
• Conduct daily unit inspections to ensure inventory accuracy and unit availability.
• Audit cash drawers, process bank deposits, and maintain accurate cash records.
• Assist customers with payment arrangements, including reminder and collection calls as necessary.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and exterior curb appeal upkeep.

• Previous customer‑service‑focused sales experience (retail, restaurant, fast food, or similar service‑based roles).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement is available.
• Physical ability to lift or move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Comfortable walking around facilities for up to 50% of the workday, including outdoor work, climbing stairs, and opening large doors.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.

• Flexible full‑time schedules between 9:30 AM and 6 PM (weekends until 5 PM).
