Gulfeagle Supply is a family-owned business with over 100+ locations nationwide. We are a full line distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products, servicing professional contractors and providing products and services to homeowners, building owners, architects, and general contractors.

This position is part of a team of builders that focus on assembling wood truss components into roof and floor trusses according to engineered drawings. Truss Assembly 2 or Truss Assembly 3 represent different levels of experience and ability to build within each assembly team.

• Commit to customer service for both internal and external customers, both in attitude and approach.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and labeling of trusses produced according to assigned production schedules, completing assembly of needed trusses to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Assemble trusses according to shop drawings correctly, matching lumber and plate specs to design specifications.
• Work safely, adhering to company safety policies and procedures, wearing all required PPE.
• Ensure plates are sized, placed, and attached correctly prior to pressing.
• Keep the working area clean and inventory organized.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

• Ability to read and interpret truss shop drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to accurately interpret engineered shop drawings.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and to read a tape measure.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• All new hires must complete a pre‑employment background check and drug test.
