For generations, First Baptist Church of Venice has stood as a beacon of faith, hope, and Gospel ministry along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Following the retirement of our beloved Senior Pastor after 33 years of committed service, and under the faithful leadership of our Transitional Pastor, our Pastor Search Team is prayerfully seeking the man God has already prepared to become our next Senior Pastor and spiritual shepherd.

We are a thriving, multigenerational, multi‑campus church with two vibrant locations situated just six miles apart.

• Meet the scriptural qualifications for pastoral ministry as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Demonstrate a heart for shepherding, preaching, discipleship, and servant leadership

• Have at least 5–10 years’ experience serving as a Senior Pastor
• Be a seminary graduate with a M.Div. or Doctorate preferably from an SBC institution
