Registered Nurse

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work in Venice. The position is full‑time, permanent, and based at 2500 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. The nurse will deliver peri‑operative and post‑operative care, administer medications, assist with surgical procedures, manage patient records, and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team. Responsibilities include managing airway support, closely monitoring patient status, and responding to code situations.

The role requires at least 1 year of acute care nursing experience and one year of operating room experience. Required qualifications are a Florida Registered Nurse license, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, and Basic Life Support—CPR (BLS) certification. Preferred qualifications include Perioperative Nursing, a Bachelor’s of Nursing, and additional certifications as needed for the unit.

Compensation ranges from $32.76 to $57.47 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

Full‑time, day shift. The nurse will work a standard 8‑hour shift with on‑call coverage as needed.
