Pest Control Technician - Termite

Hughes Exterminators is looking to hire a full-time Pest Control Technician - Termite to provide uncompromised service to our residential or commercial pest control customers utilizing an Integrated Pest Management approach (IPM). This is a position that is paid at an hourly rate.

You will begin each day on a route, becoming the hero who saves customers from pesky intruders and builds lifelong relationships. You will determine the prescribed treatment as marked on inspection graphs and specification sheets, prepare site areas by removing debris, and apply wood‑destroying organism treatments using the following techniques:

• Termite bait station (Sentricon) installation with auger and digging tools
• Trenching and applying liquid treatment to exterior or crawl‑space perimeters of structures
• Drilling and applying liquid treatment to void spaces or blocks in crawl spaces and structures
• Spray application of product to affected areas

Other responsibilities include collecting service payments, maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor, and keeping equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass and maintain state regulatory agency‑required licensing/certification exams
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week
• No experience necessary; we will train the right person.
