A&P Mechanic

We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics to perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in an aviation maintenance environment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace aircraft airframe and powerplant components.
• Complete aircraft servicing, repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct functional checks and operational testing of aircraft systems.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and completely.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, inspectors, and flight operations personnel to ensure aircraft readiness.

• Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, structures, engines, and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience performing line maintenance, heavy maintenance, or depot-level maintenance.
• Experience working on commercial, corporate, military, or general aviation aircraft.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance documentation requirements.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work from ladders, maintenance stands, and elevated platforms.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Aircraft hangar, maintenance, and flight line environments.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, chemicals, and aviation equipment.
• Fast-paced team environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Venice, FL.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
