Seeking versatile construction technicians for healthcare facilities renovations. Need a strong background in construction with various aspects from framing, drywall, and painting to finish applications such as trim, cabinets and wall protection.
You will be responsible for installing and completing finished products in a timely manner and follow directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, and be a hard worker.
Examples of Duties (including but not limited to):Assisting supervisor with modifications and repairs of project renovations; including building and installation of cabinets, partitions, and shelves; acoustical ceilings, doors, locks and related items. Metal framing & drywall finishing with painting of smaller projects. Installation of handrails, crash rails and wall protection, and setting up dust barriers. You will be responsible for helping to keep the project in safe condition adhering to safety standards and use of equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials common to the carpentry trade.
- Knowledge of cabinet installation.
- Skilled in the construction, repair, restoration and installation of wood or related materials.
- Ability to manage allotted project time and material usage of projects assigned
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Completion of a four year federally approved technical program in carpentry; OR,
- Four years carpentry experience; OR,
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education accepted by Company.
- Have required tools needed for completing jobs.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
