D-Trans LLC is looking for a driven, fast-learning Dispatch Coordinator to join our operations team at our headquarters in Venice, FL. This is a 100% in-office position (not remote).
If you understand the basics of freight logistics — pickups, deliveries, carriers, brokers — we’ll train you to grow into a top-tier dispatcher. We invest heavily in people who show commitment, reliability, and ambition.
What You’ll Do- Coordinate nationwide freight pickups and deliveries
- Track loads in real time and resolve issues proactively
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and brokers
- Use our TMS to manage BOLs, PODs, and rate confirmations
- Post and secure freight on DAT, Truckstop, and customer boards
- Negotiate rates and maintain profitable margins
- Plan safe, HOS-compliant routes
- Identify delays early and act quickly
- Participate in rotating evening/weekend/on-call coverage
- Basic freight operations
- How to read BOLs and rate confirmations
- DOT / HOS regulations
- Full TMS & Samsara telematics operations
- Route planning for maximum HOS efficiency
- Internal best dispatch practices used by our senior team
