Commercial Driver’s License Instructor.
As a Commercial Driver’s License Instructor, you will play a key role in training and developing new CDL drivers, using effective teaching methods in classroom settings, skills courses, and behind‑the‑wheel driving. You’ll help create safe, dependable, and proficient drivers by guiding students through our approved curriculum.

Fleet Force specializes in the development and implementation of customized CDL training programs for our corporate partners across America who want to aggressively expand. Fleet Force is a licensed third‑party CDL test administrator for the State of Florida.
Fleet Force is the largest and fastest‑growing CDL training program in Florida, with over 10 locations. Since 1981, we have produced high‑quality entry‑level professional drivers.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct vehicle pre‑trip inspection training
- Teach basic control skills, including backing into designated areas
- Instruct on uncoupling and coupling tractor/trailer units
- Train students on basic shifting techniques, including double clutching
- Guide students to safely operate commercial vehicles on rural and city roadways
- Prepare and maintain student records including training activities, test results, and performance evaluations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Instructor or School Director
- Valid FL license Class A CDL with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
- Clean driving history and ability to pass pre‑employment drug/alcohol test
- Effective English communication skills
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to endure Florida’s hot summer temperatures while standing outdoors for long periods
- Willingness to work weekends as needed, as Fleet Force operates 7 days per week

Pay Range $23.00 Hourly to $23.00 Hourly
