General Manager:
This design-led property blends contemporary sophistication with authentic local heritage, offering guests an immersive destination experience rooted in culture, craftsmanship, and modern hospitality. The Opportunity:

As General Manager, you will hold full responsibility for the hotel’s strategic direction, operational leadership, financial performance, and overall guest and brand experience.
Beyond day-to-day operations, this role requires a visible, charismatic leader capable of elevating the property’s market positioning, strengthening its commercial performance, and creating a culture of excellence across the team.
You will work closely with ownership and corporate leadership while acting as the ambassador of the property within the local community and international market.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

Leadership & Strategic Direction
Lead the hotel’s overall strategy and long-term positioning
Position the property as a leading lifestyle destination within Venice
Drive brand differentiation, guest loyalty, and market relevance
Build strong relationships with ownership, corporate stakeholders, and local partners

Financial & Commercial Performance:
Hold full P&L responsibility for the property
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
Drive performance across all revenue streams, including Rooms and Food & Beverage
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to maximise performance
Identify and unlock new commercial opportunities across key market segments

Operational Excellence:
Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring seamless and efficient performance
Maintain the highest standards of service quality, product, and presentation
Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Oversee maintenance and capital planning to protect and enhance the asset

Guest Experience & Brand Positioning
Ensure delivery of an exceptional and personalised guest experience
Actively engage with VIP guests and key clients
Monitor guest feedback and reputation metrics, driving continuous improvement
Integrate local culture and experiences into the guest journey

People & Culture Leadership
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing leadership team
Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and excellence
Drive talent development, engagement, and retention
Create an environment where teams feel empowered and motivated

Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as ambassador of the hotel within the destination
Build strong relationships with local partners and institutions
Support initiatives that strengthen the hotel’s identity and positioning

What We Are Looking For :
This role requires a dynamic, commercially driven hospitality leader with strong emotional intelligence and a passion for lifestyle hospitality.

You will likely bring:
Significant experience as General Manager or Executive Assistant Manager within upper-upscale or luxury hotels
Strong commercial acumen and proven financial leadership
Experience in lifestyle, design-led, or culturally connected hospitality environments
A track record of delivering strong guest satisfaction and financial performance
The ability to inspire teams and lead with authenticity
Strong stakeholder and ownership relationship skills

Fluent Italian and English are essential. Additional languages are highly valued.
