Volunteer Facilitators Needed! - Energy Sustainability Activation

Volunteer with us to empower school students and enrich them with Energy Efficiency Simulation!

• Facilitate a group of students from primary and secondary schools
  .
• Guide students through interactive activities and discussions, helping them understand energy efficiency concepts and develop practical strategies for conservation.
• Assist participants in navigating unexpected challenges and brainstorming solutions to achieve energy efficiency goals.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to share ideas, ask questions, and engage with the simulation effectively.

• Passion for environmental sustainability and energy conservation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to facilitate group activities and discussions in an engaging and inclusive manner.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of students during the simulation sessions.
• Fast‑paced & quick learner.
• Preferably:
  Able to speak both English and Bahasa.
• Gain valuable facilitation experience and leadership skills in the field of environmental education.
• Make a positive impact by empowering students to adopt energy‑efficient practices and reduce their carbon footprint.
• Join a supportive community of like‑minded volunteers committed to promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Receive training and support from the MAD Movement team to ensure a successful volunteering experience.

• Penang: 21st - 25th October
• Volunteer allowance + meal allowance are provided.
• Accommodation is provided, and priority will be given to volunteers that are NOT from the programme state.
