Accounts Payable Clerk - Ventnor City

Is accepting applications for an immediate, full-time Accounts Payable Clerk. The ideal candidate will have experience and proficiency in the processes and procedures of Accounts Payable.

Prior local government experience is preferred. Knowledge of Edmunds software, Word, and excellent Excel skills necessary to perform duties. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, ability to work independently, and multi-task.

• performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data.
• preparing invoices to be processed for payment, reconciling and analyzing accounts payable system: purchasing, preparing periodic reports on a monthly basis.
• accounts payable, including end-of-year requirements; purchase orders; bill lists; payment and check processing; revenue and expenditure/budget reports.
• processing and posting payments, as well as additional, various duties and functions assigned by the CFO.

Certification as QPA also desired.

• Full benefits including health insurance and pension.
• Salary will be commensurate with experience.
• Salary range: $45,000 to $65,000
