Enterprise Systems & Operations Planning Manager

South Ventura County, CA

Mon–Thurs, 4/10 Schedule | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

$100,000 - $170,000

About the Opportunity

A leading advanced manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems & Operations Planning Manager to own two connected priorities: driving strategic ERP upgrades and building a disciplined Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process that aligns demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans. This role is central to improving execution, visibility, and decision‑making across the business.

What You’ll Lead
  • ERP Programs: Lead end-to-end ERP upgrade programs — scope, governance, schedule, budget, risk management, cutover, and training readiness.
  • Process Alignment: Standardize core processes spanning order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, manufacturing, inventory, and finance.
  • SIOP Design & Execution: Build and run a standardized SIOP model with monthly cross‑functional reviews and a clear decision cadence.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver clear program health updates, ROI/business‑case analysis, and structured change management.
  • Engineering Support: Support R&D and prototyping procurement — POs, work orders, and LOBs — keeping development programs moving.
What Your Day Looks Like

You’ll divide your time between focused planning and direct coordination with leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Sales. A typical day includes reviewing schedule and cost status, preparing concise stakeholder updates, and clearing open risks before they become delays.

You’ll spend time both in the office and on the production floor, translating what you observe into clear decisions, change controls, and action items. Each month, you’ll drive a steady planning rhythm — bringing the right people together, keeping discussions fact‑based, and ensuring follow‑through. When Engineering has urgent prototype needs, you’ll pivot quickly to keep development on track.

What You Bring
  • Education: B.S. in a technical or product development discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience: 7–10 years in engineering, program management, and supply chain within product development or manufacturing environments
  • Hands‑on ERP implementation experience (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent)
  • Skills: Strong financial communication, quantitative analysis, and cross‑functional leadership
  • Tools: ERP, Oracle preferred, MS Office, MS Project / Project Online, Power BI
Why You’ll Want This Role
  • 4/10 schedule — enjoy three‑day weekends every week
  • High‑visibility, cross‑functional leadership in a stable, growing organization
  • Direct impact on how the business plans, executes, and makes decisions
  • Collaborative culture with room to shape and scale a new discipline
