Construction Project Manager in Ventura

Job Description

Hartigan Foley is a licensed California general contractor specializing in commercial and high-end residential construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

• Manage projects through all phases: pre-construction, construction, and close-out
• Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Navigate permitting and regulatory requirements
• Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor buy-out
• Prepare scopes of work and review contracts and subcontracts
• Analyze plans/specs for constructability and sequencing
• Maintain project documentation (RFIs, logs, reports, submittals, change orders)
• Monitor jobsite progress, safety compliance, and superintendent performance
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates with clients and team members

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction (ground-up, high-end residential and commercial
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling
• Proficiency in construction software (Procore ), Smartsheet’s
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Salary up to $130,000 (DOE)
