Job Summary
Ohana Pet Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist /
Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. This is a flexible, full-time or part-time position, with a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.
Saturday required.
- Create exceptional client experiences and build trust through compassionate service.
- Manage appointments and daily patient flow.
- Handle multi-line phone system and support in-person clients.
- Process transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide clients with essential information about services and support during routine and emotionally sensitive situations.
- Compensation: $20-23 per hour, for each hour worked.
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current veterinary experience.

- 1+ years of veterinary receptionist / veterinary front desk experience required.
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients.
- Experience with veterinary practice management software preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred.
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team.
- Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods.
