Under the supervision of a Dean and direction of an Athletic Director, the Head Coach will provide comprehensive instruction and leadership to student‑athletes and oversee recruitment, team scheduling, programming, and public relations. A Head Coach may direct Assistant Coaches.

Part‑time Head Women’s Golf Coach assignment at Moorpark College begins Summer 2026.

Moorpark College is one of three colleges in the Ventura County Community College District, founded in 1967 and serving about 15,000 students. The campus spans 150 acres in the foothills of Ventura County.

• Provide instruction, mentoring, and coaching to student‑athletes.
• Manage the sport program day‑to‑day.
• Plan and schedule competitions and events.
• Establish and maintain safety standards.
• Create a positive atmosphere; support academic progress.
• Lead recruiting in compliance with regulations.
• Develop and manage the sport budget.
• Ensure program compliance with CCCAA regulations.
• Promote interest and attendance; assist in fundraising.
• Provide work direction to others.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher plus two years of professional experience; or associate degree plus six years; or valid California Community College Teaching Credential.
• First Aid Certificate within three months.
• CPR Certificate within three months.
• Valid California Driver License.

Part‑time faculty are paid $2,007–$3,108 per semester per 10% load with additional stipend for Head Coach.
