Description:
Performs engineering hardware fabrication, troubleshooting, testing, and laboratory operations to support development activities, including electronic and mechanical assembly based on engineering drawings.
Requirements:
#Position Details
* Manufacturing / Engineering Lab
* Contract - Approximately 12 Months
* 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday; training on 1st Shift)
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
*$25.00 - $35.00 Hourly
#Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 1-2 years of experience in electronics assembly, troubleshooting, or testing
* Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in electronic systems
* Experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing
* Ability to work independently and communicate technical issues with customers and vendors
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
#Preferred
* Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field preferred
#Job Duties & Functions
* Fabricates electronic and electrical chassis assemblies using engineering development drawings
* Constructs mechanical racks and supports hardware integration activities
* Performs electronic troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on hardware systems
* Executes laboratory operations, including setup and maintenance of test environments
* Analyzes technical issues and communicates findings with customers and vendors
* Coordinates with engineering teams to ensure fabrication meets design specifications
* Verifies completed assemblies against engineering requirements and quality standards
* Documents fabrication processes, test results, and troubleshooting activities
#Physical Requirements & Environment
* Climbs ladders as required during fabrication and testing activities
* Lifts and moves items weighing up to 25 pounds
* Works in a laboratory and light industrial environment
