Compensation
Salary Range: $71.41 - $133.25 per hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

ResponsibilitiesPosition Overview:
The Senior Director of Finance is responsible for the overall financial operations Community Memorial Healthcare (CMH), including but not limited to financial planning, budget, accounting, accounts receivable valuation, and revenue cycle functions. The Senior Director reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is supported by the Director of Finance and dedicated accounting staff. The Senior Director has responsibility for assisting in the processes for planning, organizing, and managing CMH's financial systems.
Ability to represent the CFO when needed.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with major course work in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Ten (10) years of post-graduate finance or accounting experience in a business office setting.
- Five (5) years of finance or accounting experience in a hospital setting.
- Five (5) years of management experience.
- Two (2) years' experience supervising a Controller and/or professional Accountants.
- Previous experience in creating routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before stakeholders.
- Previous knowledge of accounting software; database software; spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Must possess a firm grasp of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and concepts as applied to accounting practices as may be routinely encountered in a hospital setting.
