Benefits

- Office Systems Coordinator I: $29.89 – $42.00 per bi‑weekly pay period.
- Office Systems Coordinator II: $32.81 – $46.14 per bi‑weekly pay period.
The Office Systems Coordinator I and II provide technical assistance to department staff by supporting and coordinating tasks related to computers, networks, and office automation systems. Under general supervision (OSC I) or direction (OSC II), the coordinator assists with vendor liaison, product evaluation, procurement, configuration and installation of hardware and software, data communications support, and maintenance of automated office systems.
Responsibilities- Assist with (OSC I) or be responsible for (OSC II) vendor liaison and technical evaluation of products and procurement with Information Systems and Development (ISD).
- Coordinate software and hardware configuration and installation of personal computers and local area networks.
- Provide data communications analysis and support (OSC II).
- Offer technical assistance for user interfaces of office systems and large computer systems.
- Perform feasibility studies, minor systems maintenance, and micro‑computer application development (OSC I and II).
- Assist management in establishing priorities and planning automation needs.
- Provide occasional system maintenance and repair.
- Perform micro‑computer programming functions for users.
- Analyze, design, and develop micro‑computer programs (OSC II).
- Develop systems procedures for automated office system usage.
- Troubleshoot ongoing issues and refer repairs to Information Systems staff.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Education, Training, and Experience:
Some experience (OSC I) or considerable experience (OSC II) in automated computer and office systems coordination. This may be achieved through relevant coursework and two (2) years of related experience for OSC I or three (3) years for OSC II. - Necessary Special Requirement:
Depending on assignment, a valid California driver’s license may be required. - Job Competencies:
