PartTime Property Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Part-Time Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain an apartment and townhome community in Ventura, CA. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and can handle general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents.

This position is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and keeping a residential property in excellent condition.

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the apartment and townhome community.
• Handle basic plumbing repairs, including leaky faucets, clogged drains, and toilet repairs.
• Perform minor electrical repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, switches, and fixtures when qualified.
• Complete basic carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and touch-up work.
• Maintain common areas, walkways, landscaping, and other shared spaces.
• Assist with preparing vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Respond to routine maintenance requests and report larger issues as needed.
• Inspect the property for maintenance concerns and potential safety hazards.
• Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Communicate professionally with property management and residents.
• Assist with other general property maintenance duties as needed.

• Previous experience in property maintenance, apartment maintenance, handyman services, or general repairs preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, drywall repair, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot common maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must have the ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the property.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the property in Ventura, CA.

• Pay: $25.00 per hour.
