Job Title:

CNC Programmer

Location: Ventura, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28–$30 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision manufacturing operations by creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for a variety of machining applications. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD/CAM experience, a solid understanding of machining processes, and the ability to improve production efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and other CNC equipment
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate part production
  • Select tooling, establish machining strategies, and support machine setup activities
  • Perform machine calibration and verify program accuracy before production runs Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to minimize downtime
  • Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production personnel to support manufacturing goals
  • Maintain accurate programming documentation and revision records
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process development
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience required
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
  • Experience supporting CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Solid Works, or Fusion 360
  • Experience with process optimization and production improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing materials and machining applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for documentation and reporting
