If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry seeking a skilled Permanent Browne & Sharpe Machinist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality products that make a difference.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering competitive pay and benefits.

• 1. Operating and maintaining Browne & Sharpe machines to ensure efficient and quality production.
• 2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
• 3. Selecting gauge and type of sheet metal according to product specifications.
• 4. Laying out and marking dimensions and reference lines on material, using scribers, dividers, squares, and rulers, applying knowledge of shop mathematics and layout techniques to develop and trace patterns of product or parts.
• 5. Forming or shaping metal work pieces with hammers or other small hand tools.
• 6. Utilizing CAM software to design and implement production processes.
• 7. Working in conjunction with the Tool and Die team to ensure all dies are properly set up and functional.
• 8. Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
• 9. Regularly inspecting and performing necessary minor maintenance on the machinery.
• 10. Resolving machine malfunctions and ensuring it meets all set specifications and standards.

• 1. 5+ years of experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing setting.
• 2. Proficiency in operating Browne & Sharpe machines.
• 3. Extensive knowledge and experience with Tool and Die practices.
• 4. Proficiency in using CAM software for designing and implementing production processes.
• 5. Exceptional technical and mechanical skills.
• 6. Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
• 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions or errors.
• 8. High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• 9. Strong safety record and commitment to workplace safety.
• 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 11. Good physical condition and stamina to perform tasks over long periods.
